Casino Craps – A Special Report

by Jerry Patterson

Now you can play craps knowing you will

never miss a hot roll or long hand

at the craps tables again!

Most crap shooters blow big money by waiting for that long hand, that hot roll when the shooter throws number after number and your chip racks fill up quickly.  Many shooters blow most or all of their bankroll if they don't get lucky and catch a hot hand early in their session.

How much would it be worth to you if I could guarantee that you would never miss a Hot Roll or Long Hand again?  That if a shooter gets hot at your table, you will be with him on the hand and score big?  Not only that, but it wouldn't cost you 10, 15, 20 betting units or more waiting for that hot roll to occur.   And get this, all it takes to find out if this shooter is the one is just three betting units!

Keep reading to understand the problem that most crap shooters have in detecting and exploiting Hot Rolls, and the solution to that problem.

Long hands or Hot Rolls are what most craps players play the game for.  They occur at every craps table from time to time.  If you’re a craps player, you’ve seen them – the shooter throwing number after number, chip racks filling up, players yelling and screaming.  And, as long as the crap shooter avoids the losing 7 and continues to hold the dice, he and the players are excited, the adrenalin rushes and the winnings accumulate.

But, when and how often do Hot Rolls occur and how do you know when a Hot Roll is coming?  This special report will answer some of these questions, offer advice on how to spot and exploit a Hot Roll, and point you in the right direction to start winning big at casino craps.

There are indicators that can get us into the beginning of a Hot Roll.  Fortunately, it does not have to cost us an arm and a leg anymore to find out if we are into one.  In addition, the indicators for Hot Rolls are easily identified.

Let’s start by defining two terms that apply to the craps table:  Implosion and Explosion.

Implosion: Undergoing compression. An act of bringing things to the center. Crushing in on itself.

Implosion is what happens at the craps tables most of the time. All bets are up and the seven implodes the craps table, bringing all bets to the center. One little number causes all this - the 7, against ten other numbers.

So what would be the opposite?

Explosion. Burst with pressure from within. Parts separating but maintaining their relationship. Having one bet creating many others.

What do we want to happen to us at the crap tables?  Right... explosion! Hot shooters!  Hot Craps Tables!

There are two kinds of explosions at the crap tables:  Major and minor. Major ones last long enough to make us some very good money. Minor ones last long enough to make a profit of some kind on this crap shooter.  A major explosion usually happens about 5% of the time in a 24-hour period. Minor explosions happen about 10% -15% of the time.

We want explosions and, if you consider that about 20% of the time something good is happening at any given craps table, chances are pretty good that we can experience one sometime within a 2- to 3- hour session in a casino with three or more craps tables.

Many players do not know how to harness an explosion and profit from it when it happens. They also do not know when they are in one. When they do get into one and win, they are:

1. Usually winning back their losses;

2. Getting in on the action too late;

3. Not aggressive enough to make money.

These problems are solvable.

Without a plan of action, you will most likely be down units when you experience a Hot Roll or Long Hand. Which means just winning back losses. All because of implosion.

The times that we see explosions, we want to exploit these occasions. All too often it's over before you decide to "go for it." Or, you don't have the aggressiveness to try it when you think it's there. Well, that doesn't have to be the case anymore. You can be there when it happens and go for it. On top of that, you won't have to worry about losing any large amount of money getting there.  There is a way to maintain your safety along the way and preserve your bankroll to exploit a Hot Roll when one occurs.

I have developed a method to find these Hot Rolls with very little risk and very large profit potential.  It’s advantages are:

But, you must have patience. You may not hit a Hot Roll for hours. On the other hand, you may hit a profitable Hot Roll every hour or even more, depending on the mood of the tables. In any event, it's nice to be safe along the way.

Hot Rolls are either there or they are not. They are part of the game. But there is no reason to lose a lot of money chasing a Hot Roll.  You must be patient and not assume that any given crap shooter is going the throw a Hot Roll on his or her hand.

The winnings have no limit. The losses are minimum.

Before we get into the ways of finding and testing for a Hot Roll, let’s talk about what one is and why most players lose while waiting for one to occur.  Read these next paragraphs carefully.  Do they describe your betting patterns at the craps table?

Let's say a craps player’s habit is to buy in and begin playing. Let's say his normal method of play is the pass line and come bets. About 80% of the time he will lose his buy-in. That means he wins about 20% of the time playing this way. Let’s say a player places the four inside numbers. Same thing.  He loses about 80% of the time and wins 20%. This is what I have observed and experienced over the years. Why? Numbers do not roll and repeat often enough for these bets to pay off on a dependable basis without guidelines.

For example, let's say a player plays the pass line and two come bets using $5 units. He takes double odds on each bet for an investment in each shooter of $45 (three $5 bets each with $10 odds).

Let's say he hits one of them; e.g. the 6.  He collects a payoff of $17 and puts up another come bet. For this win, and considering he has replaced a bet with another come bet, he has cleared $2. With the pass line bet and the two come bets still up, he's still got $43 invested in the game.

Let's say he hits once more:  The 8.  He collects a payoff of another $17 and replaces his come bet. Total winnings so far are $19 (the $2 from the 6 and the $17 from the 8). He still has $45 on the board.  Or a total investment now of $26 ($45 minus $19) in this shooter. He still has to make another hit just to get close to even.

You can go from here and see the demand he is putting on the dice to keep going. Even after a couple of more hits, he's not yet near a big win. However, this is all assuming the dice cooperate. This is also assuming they keep repeating the numbers that are bet.

Remember, the dice do not usually cooperate around 80% of the time. Most of the time I win more on one place bet and take it down when it hits than most of these loose players do and a relatively good hand. If you think playing methodically is drawn out and at times boring, then just walk up to a table and throw your money at it. Soon enough you will return to playing disciplined craps.

Playing multiple place bets and pressing or leaving them up results in the same loss percentage as playing the come bets at will. However, there is a way to play come bets safely using correct money management, select entry points, and signaled back-off indicators.  This is what my Hot Roll Finder Method is all about.

Before telling you about my Hot Roll Method which is proprietary, let me give you some advice based on my many years of experience at the craps tables.

When you bet multiple bets without knowledge or table savvy, you are winning one unit at a time while exposing and losing many others along with it. When you lose, the casino is collecting your multiple units. When you win, they are paying you one at a time. It's like this - a flip of the coin, you win one coin if you win. If you lose, you lose three coins. Same thing at the tables if you depend on luck alone.

However, we cannot deny that when the craps shooter gets hot, a lot of craps players can make money on Hot Rolls.  Conserving your bankroll during the 80% losing periods and entering the assumed 20% winning rolls with aggressiveness is the technique you want to learn. It can be done but, remember, not every roll is a Hot Roll.

There are several ways to catch a Hot Roll safely.

Let me give you some advice to get you started.

When playing multiple place bets or come bets, it's great when they hit but, again, these hits don't come often enough to keep you in the black. Eventually your bankroll peters out. You get another stake, perhaps hit a good one, and then, like always, it soon fades away. It's a vicious cycle that cuts to the bone and can wear a player out financially, mentally, and perhaps sometimes physically.

Examine it yourself. It takes a heck of a lot of numbers to roll before you begin to generate a profit. You'll be surprised to see how many numbers have to hit before you can call it a good roll.

There are some ways to combat the odds against you, though:

Then you have a chance.

We are going to learn how to approach Hot Rolls mechanically and, at the same time, protect our bankroll.

If you follow my direction, I'm not too concerned about your losing.  However, there are cycles that can hurt even the best of us or the best of money management systems. Some tables refuse to turn for many hours.  Yet, even this type of table can't hurt too badly if you follow my advice. You can stay close to even most of the time, even on the worst tables.

The key is NOT to come out firing on each new shooter; let the shooter prove himself to you first.  Then increase your bets conservatively and take some profits along the way.  I recommend sticking with two bets in addition to the pass line – either come or place.

Better yet, check out my Hot Roll Finder.  I’ve got shooter qualification parameters that give you the best chance of catching a Hot Roll for an investment of just 3 units on each qualified shooter.

And, this is the unique and part of my method, I guarantee you will never miss a Hot Roll with it.

Using my Hot Roll Finder Method, you are:

1.      Actively engaged in most of the plays.

2.      Using expert money management techniques.

3.      There to take advantage of and exploit the explosion when it occurs with little investment.

4.      You do not have to calculate or track the game, but only play by the simple rules.
